Connecting. Sharing. Growing Together.
Dinner for Six is a great way to connect and build relationships at Calvary.
The purpose is simple: meet new people, form friendships, and get to know others in the church family while enjoying a meal together.
Each group is made up of three couples (or a mix of couples and singles). Over a few months, your group will meet —at a home, a restaurant, or even a park. Each gathering is flexible, fun, and designed to fit your group’s style.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How does Dinner for Six work?
A: Sign up online or through Flocknote. Groups will be formed and given a list of
members with contact information. Couples are listed as 1, 2, and 3. Couple 1
coordinates the first month, Couple 2 the second, and Couple 3 the third. Each lead couple organizes the date, location, and who brings what dish.

Q: Who cooks the meals?
A: Meals are shared dish dinners. The lead couple for that month coordinates dishes, but if your group prefers, you can meet at a restaurant or enjoy a picnic at the park.
Q: I don’t have space to host or I can’t cook. Can I still join?
A: Absolutely! Hosting at home is not required. You can bring drinks, buy something pre-made, or simply meet at a restaurant or park. Participation is about connection, not cooking skills.
Q: Are there separate groups for singles and couples?
A: No. We intentionally mix everyone together—it’s more fun that way!
Q: What about kids?
A: Each group decides how to handle children. Options include: kids playing in another room, a teen babysitter, or parents arranging childcare. If you meet at a park, kids can play nearby while adults visit.
Q: How are groups formed?
A: Groups are prayerfully and thoughtfully formed to mix people together—singles and couples, newer attenders and long-time members.
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?
A: No problem! Just let your group know. Meals can be adjusted, or you can bring a dish that works for you.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Nothing! The only cost is whatever you decide to contribute to meals (cooking,
sharing a dish, or paying for your meal at a restaurant)
✨ The heart of Dinners for Six is simple: sharing meals, sharing life, and growing in
Christ together.
