YOUTH
When We Meet:
Sunday Mornings | 10:30AM – During second service, students gather for teaching, time to hang out, and meaningful conversations about following Jesus.
Wednesday Nights | 5:45PM Doors Open | Starts at: 6-8:30PM | Every Wednesday we have games, snacks, hanging out with friends, and a Bible study that sparks real conversation.
First Sundays | Communion Sunday
On the first Sunday of each month, students remain with their families during second service as we worship and take Communion together. There is no youth gathering that morning.
Fifth Sundays | Youth Serve Sunday
Whenever a month includes a fifth Sunday, students have the opportunity to serve alongside another ministry in the church, putting their faith into practice while becoming a greater part of the body of Christ.

What We're About:
We envision a generation that is:
• Equipped to share the Gospel
• Edified as God's children
• Empowered by the Holy Spirit
• Engaged in God's Word
—all while enjoying God's goodness together.
Why We Exist:
To partner with parents and the church to reach and disciple students into mature followers of Christ through the Gospel, Scripture, and Christian community.
We exist to help students know Christ, grow as His disciples, and faithfully follow Him throughout their lives while encouraging them to live out and share the hope of the Gospel with others.
We believe parents are the primary disciplers in their children’s lives, and youth ministry is meant to support—not replace—that role. Together with parents, leaders, and the larger church body, we seek to faithfully participate in God’s work of drawing students to Himself, establishing them in His Word, and maturing them in the life of His Church.
How We're Getting There:
We create a relational discipleship environment where Scripture, parents, leaders, Christian peers, and the larger church body work together in the spiritual formation of students.
We do this by:
-
rooting students in Scripture and pointing them toward a growing relationship with Christ;
-
partnering with parents as the primary disciplers in their children’s lives;
-
surrounding students with faithful Christian examples and trusted adult relationships;
-
building meaningful Christian community among students;
-
connecting students to the life, relationships, and mission of the larger church;
-
knowing students personally and supporting their individual spiritual growth.
Our goal is not simply to provide programs, but to cultivate an environment where students are known, supported, and formed through shared discipleship so that every relationship, gathering, and opportunity intentionally contributes to the kind of generation we envision.
What We're Convinced Of:
We believe God is the one who draws people to Himself through the Gospel and forms them into mature followers of Christ. While parents, leaders, and the church faithfully participate in that work, lasting spiritual transformation comes through Christ, the truth of Scripture, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Because of this, youth ministry is built on a few core convictions:
-
The Gospel is both our message and our mission. Every student should have the opportunity to know Jesus personally, grow in Him, and be equipped to faithfully live out and share the hope of the Gospel with others.
-
Scripture is our foundation. God’s Word leads people to salvation through faith in Christ and continues to teach, correct, and equip believers for every good work. We desire not simply that students know the Bible, but that they know its Author and build their lives upon Him.
-
Discipleship is relational and reproducible. God often works through faithful relationships to draw people to Himself and mature them in Christ. Students are not only discipled by parents, leaders, mentors, and peers, but are also equipped to become faithful witnesses who help others know and follow Jesus.
-
Parents are the primary disciplers, and the Body disciples together. God has entrusted parents with the primary responsibility of discipling their children, and youth ministry exists to honor, support, and strengthen that calling—not replace it. At the same time, God designed the body of Christ to grow together. Students are a vital part of that body, and spiritual formation happens as parents, leaders, peers, and the wider church encourage one another, serve together, and participate together in God’s mission.
-
God gives the increase. We faithfully proclaim the Gospel, teach God’s Word, invest in relationships, and trust God to produce lasting fruit in His time. Our responsibility is faithfulness; the results belong to Him.
Ultimately, we desire to faithfully participate in God’s work of reaching students, maturing disciples, and equipping them to make disciples of others.
Meet Our Youth Director:
My name is Emanuel Van Rijn. I am originally from North Carolina. I moved to Colorado after Jesus got a hold of my heart in April of 2022. My mission is to teach the youth God's word, how to effectively study and use Scripture in day to day life, to cultivate their individual gifts through serving, and to exemplify what it looks like to disciple and serve them so they can learn to do the same with others. My prayer is that they embrace their faith early and recognize Jesus's presence in their lives, past and present.
